One of the many Highlights of Lo-ok Elementary School Intramurals 2011 was the soccer tournament.

4 teams, more  than 50 players were occupying the field at Lo-ok NHS. Teachers lead by Mr. Miano and Mrs. Tampus and many parents and watchers enjoyed the games.
The group games ended with the 1.place for team Argentina, 5 points and the better goal difference with 5 points, + 2 goals 2. Place for team Germany, 5 points, + 1 goal, 3. Place team Brazil 2 points, - 1 goal and 4. Place Team Philippines, 2 points, - 2 goals.
All games were very tough fights and so the semifinals were no surprise then Brazil was beating Germany 2 – 0 and Argentina came to a lucky 1-0 win over Philippines.
The 2nd. Runner up was decided in a penalty shot-out and Germany was the lucky winner after a total of 14 penalties with 4 : 3 over Philippines.
The championship game over 2 x 10 minutes showed many goals actions with excellent goalkeeper reactions. Just 2 minutes before the end Brazil shot a free-kick under the crossbar and the goalkeeper from Argentina could only touch the ball before the ball landed in the net for the championship winner Brazil.
A nice celebration and many happy players concluded the tournament.
